One of her biggest passions in life is supporting people in their journey of self-growth and self-improvement.

Fatma’s background as an immigrant from Turkiye allows her to comprehend the challenges and fears people face when dealing with new environments and cultures. Her insights extend to culturally sensitive topics, diverse identities, and the various expectations people face. Her nonjudgemental approach hopes to create a warm, safe, and culturally sensitive environment for her clients.

She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. In her master's program, Fatma completed a play therapy certification with a focus on child-centered play therapy in addition to directive approaches.

Fatma’s approach in sessions with clients is integrative, utilizing a CBT perspective and person-centered counseling. She ensures that her sessions are sensitive and considerate of each person’s individual experiences and that her clients feel heard and understood. With a strong determination, she is highly focused on supporting her clients to achieve self-improvement and self-growth. Her perseverance, dedication, and determination led to her pursuit of a career as a licensed professional therapist and wants to help her clients find their courage, voices, and calling the way that she did. She believes that it is one of her life goals to support and help empower her clients and help them find and become the best versions of themselves.
