About Me
Jairus Aguilar is a Licensed Master of Social Work who specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy. He has a passion for working with children through play therapy in helping them hold space for healing and development. He believes that all children have the capacity to communicate their needs and lived experiences through play. For many years, Jairus has experienced working with children from several backgrounds, including children with Autism and other neurodivergent traits.
Jairus gained his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2021 and his Masters of Social Work degree at the University of Houston in 2024. Jairus has experience in practicing Dialectic Behavioral Therapy skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Intervention skills, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.
In his free time, Jairus enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, traveling, camping and adventuring outdoors.
